The short version

• Trip dates and labels are stored locally on your device.
• KnowDays has no account, advertising SDK, developer-operated server, or third-party analytics SDK.
• Location is used only after you request a current-country suggestion.
• Exports and optional backups are created only when you choose.

Information stored by the app

KnowDays stores the stays, countries or place labels, local arrival and departure dates, planning status, counting settings, and country-presence rules that you enter. These records are kept in the app's local container on your device.

The developer does not operate an account system or backend that receives these records.

Optional location suggestion

KnowDays requests location permission only after you tap the control that suggests your current country. Apple's location service provides a coordinate, which the app uses to infer a country suggestion.

The coordinates are not stored in the ledger, are not retained after the suggestion, are not used for continuous tracking, and are not sent to Eutopix Labs. You decide whether to accept or edit the suggested country.

Optional iCloud backup

If you choose to create an iCloud backup, KnowDays writes a JSON backup to the app's private iCloud Drive container associated with your Apple account. Eutopix Labs cannot access that private file. iCloud processing is governed by your agreement with Apple.

Exports and sharing

PDF, CSV, JSON, image, and video exports are generated locally. They leave the app only when you select a destination through the system share interface. The privacy practices of that destination apply after you share a file.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

KnowDays does not include third-party analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, or profiling SDKs. The travel analytics shown inside the app are calculated on the device and are not uploaded to Eutopix Labs.

Deletion

You can delete individual stays or clear the local ledger inside the app. Removing the app also removes its local data, subject to Apple's device backup behavior. iCloud backup files can be replaced from KnowDays and managed through your iCloud account.

Children

KnowDays is a general travel record tool and is not directed to children. Because the developer does not receive app ledger data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes

If the app's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the change ships and the effective date above will be revised.
